• Developing and positioning a "Argentina educated" brand
• Promoting the culture and the Spanish language of Argentina
Vision
EA leads the promotion of the national education offerings to the world.
Values
We believe that International education is the best way for promoting a knowledge and understanding of diverse cultures. Argentina has a rich culture and we want to share it with the world while also welcoming different customes and values. We are convinced that the most valuable form of international exchange is through education.
How do we work ?
EA is a model borrowed from countries that are more developed in the international education industry.
Since 2001, Argentina has been more active regarding being part of the global offering.
EA carries out punctual actions in order to promote Argentine education in the world. Any member institutions will be able to have the option to be included in these activities.
Models
We reference two advanced cases. One of which is,
Eduitalia wich is a consortium of Italian education institutions dedicated to their promotion in the world.
In addition, and on a more advanced level, we also reference actions in New Zealand in the form of:
Education New Zealand as non-governmental agency (NGO).
New Zealand is a strong actor in the industry of international education. Despite being a small country with such a greatly competitive neighbor like Australia, , New Zealand has achieved a prominence and an enviable level of success. New Zealand’s case motivates us fundamentally because international education is among the "top ten" industries of this country and it represents an important part of its PBI.
Another model we consult is the
The Canadian Education Centre Network. This is a private, independent, non-profit company that was founded in 1995 with support from the Government of Canada. They work to promote and market Canada as a study destination for international students and as a world-class provider of education services. They carry out their mandate through their 16 Canadian Education Centers and four satellite offices in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam. They also produce StudyCanada.ca, the ultimate international student website providing information to students in 15 languages, andpublish hard copy guides and magazines promoting Canadian education. They lobby the government for changes to policies in support of Canada's international education industry.
Briefing education industry world
The educational global market is growing remarkably. International Education is an enterprise that moves 2.7 million students in the entire world and, in economic terms, is without a doubt an important source of income for any country. It is estimated that in 2025 there will be 7 million individuals studying abroad.
The most popular destination for international students has always been the
United States. For those students that do not circulate inside the European Union the destinations in high demand are the following:
Australia,
Germany,
France and the
United Kingdom. Other important countries are New Zealand, Malaysia, Canada and Turkey.
The English-speaking countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand are particularly acquaintances because they constitute the 50% of all the market. Although their origins vary, it is still important to emphasize that China, India and Korea are the main suppliers of international students. Argentina is beginning its work within International Education.
According to the information above,
EA is taking action to promote, support and develop, as do its peers in many countries.
There is a strong potential and a great opportunity available by pushing Argentina from a regional to a world level. It is our responsibility to work to promote Argentina as a destination for education so that we can show the world the benefits of being educated in Argentina.
